Civic Medical is proud to continue and build on over 25 years of General Practice medical service to the Singleton community.

Civic Medical is Singleton’s premium General Practice, with a well deserved reputation for providing outstanding medical care and professional excellence.

Dr Mitchell Tanner and Dr David Woods are the medical practitioners at Civic Medical. Both Dr Tanner and Dr Woods are fully Australian trained and are Fellows of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Currently we are NOT accepting new patients, as our books are now closed and we apologise for any inconvenience. We are only treating existing patients of the Practice. Both hold full admitting rights at Singleton District Hospital, and both regularly attend local nursing homes.

Dr Tanner and Dr Woods are very experienced and provide care in all fields of practice, including: general medicine, paediatrics, aged care, immunisations, skin cancer checks and removal, women’s health, cervical screening, contraception, men’s health, mental health, and much more. For further information see “our services”.

Civic Medical have nurses who are trained and experienced in providing women’s health services.

To ensure patients can be seen in a timely manner and when it is required, the Practice will have allocated appointments to be booked “only on the day“ for urgent appointments, as well as bookings made in advance.
